About the Company

Del Pizzo Construction has been serving the Tri-State Area for over 20 years. Our success derives from our attention to detail, customer satisfaction and the highest quality we bring to every project. We design plans for our remodeling projects in-house, which is a great advantage over other firms.

Del Pizzo Construction is a contracted partner with Patterson Schwartz's service, Home-Link®. Home-Link is a company that offers over 60 services for all the needs of a home, and Del Pizzo Construction has been doing carpentry projects for Home-Link for several years. All jobs receive a customer survey to insure the highest quality.

To give our customers an extra level of confidence, we are a member of the Better Business Bureau of Delaware. The BBB grades companies through phone calls and customer feedback. Del Pizzo Construction's grade is A+, and we have had five years without a blemish on our record. We are also referred by Shone Lumber in Stanton through their website as one of their featured contractors.

So, when you are looking for an established carpentry contractor with the highest levels of quality, professionalism, and design, please contact us and let us quote your next project.

About the Owner

Matt Del Pizzo is a Delaware native. He finished a 3 year carpentry program at Delcastle Vocational High School, and worked for several construction companies from 1984 to 1988. In 1989, Matt went into business and formed Del Pizzo Construction.

Matt's interests are in varying subjects. He was an award-winning decorative bird carver. He has also had a strong commitment to the environment, and served the Delaware Audubon Society for 12 years in several chairships, including: Nest Box Maker, Conservation, Vice President, and President. As a company, Del Pizzo Construction has donated salvaged materials to be reused on needy families homes, donated carpentry to the TV show “Extreme Home Makeover”, and recycled building products and packaging whenever possible. Matt has donated his carved birds for raffles in support of both The Siskiyou Project and Special Olympics Delaware.

Matt strives to use ‘green’ products wherever possible, and brings these values to his personal as well as professional life.

Matt has also worked with a friend who has a tree-house resort in Oregon. The tree-houses are very elaborate, and the Out‘n’About Treehouse Resort website is listed on our links page (you can find mention of Matt in the “Legalitrees” section, July 4th, 1994 entry). Matt fought alongside the owner to get the county to accept them as permitted building structures. Seven years later the building laws in Oregon have been changed to accept alternative living structures.
